It’s that time again, time for Capital Ex (or as most of us lovingly remember it as Klondike Days or K-Days). Yes the line ups are long, the food is horrible for you and it is thousands of people but every kid HAS to experience it, right!?
The pancake breakfast was put on at Mom, Dad, Aunty and Grandma’s work and Owen and Brandon loved coming downtown, riding the elevator and eating where Mom and Dad eat for lunch everyday. After the breakfast we walked to the parade route and scouted out a spot on the curb.
The parade is starting, the parade is starting…
The marching bands, army trucks and tanks, police and fire cars were the highlights of the parade. The walk back to the van was tough, it was hot, we were tired but Mom and Aunty came to the rescue — between the two of us we luged four chairs and carried two very tired boys!
