As part of Timbits soccer, Owen’s age group was invited to a tournament put on by Tim Horton’s. Of course the day was cool and windy — Owen’s soccer days always are – ha ha. The kids had lots of fun and only 4 of Owen’s teammates were able to make it out, so they played half an hour of hard soccer with medals afterwards.
Thank you to our cheering crowd who braved the cool weather and crazy parking for cheer the Silver Knights on!
After soccer, we stopped for lunch at Dairy Queen — a proper treat for such hard work — and in the parking lot there was a small fundraiser going on with a police man and his police car and….to our great surprise, you could sit in the police car — pretend to be both the good guy and the bad guy. Owen and Brandon loved it and after thanking the police officer, Brandon grinned and whispered to the police officer, “I can see your shooting gun!”. That’s our Brandon!
