Dinosaurs Camp was a hit!

As I mentioned in the spring, we registered Owen for a dinosaurs camp at Springhill Preschool.  We were a little worried Owen wouldn’t stay as we would be taking Brandon with us but it was Brandon that was more upset.  Owen was fine to go on his own, but Brandon was quite upset that he didn’t get to stay with Owen.  There was a theme each day and if it was sunny and warm the kids got to play in the sprinkler at the end of class.  It was a morning class, ending just in time for lunch.  We spent the mornings with Brandon, one morning we met up with Tonya and Brooke for some playtime at Let’s Play, another morning we went to Toys R Us so Brandon could show us what kind of toys he would like for his birthday, then we did some errands the other mornings.

Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate as well as we had hoped, while the sun would come out and warm up, it would rain over the evening and night making everything outside damp and wet — meaning Owen and Brandon did not get to play in the playgrounds as much as we had all hoped.  We made due with the boys entertaining us indoors.

BBQing and cooking for Mom and Dad. Careful it’s hot!

Going to work, just like Mom and Dad!
