Dress up is so much fun. But dress up for boys is tough, it is hard to find good dress up clothes for boys – why does it all have to include guns and swords and fighting?? For Owen’s 3rd birthday Aunty Darlene found a policeman and fireman dress up sets and ever since Owen and Brandon equally enjoy dressing up and pretending to be firemen and policemen.
To mix things up a bit, I pulled out the boys “old” Halloween costumes and they thoroughly enjoyed pretending to be a dragon (and a monkey — unfortunately I wasn’t quick enough with the camera). Dress up is one time when both Owen and Brandon LOVE to pose for the camera! Owen will even ask “Do you wanna take a picture?” Brandon enjoyed the dragon costume so much, he ate lunch in it, read books in it and even helped to vacuum the main floor in it.
