We had an interesting week in July where it was gloomy and rainy and then in the evenings it would pour rain! We finally picked up raincoats for the boys and after watching the rain out the family room window they looked back at us and said….can we go out on the deck? Sean and I looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders, why not? They dressed in their new dinosaurs rain coats and batman and spider-man rain boots and headed out into the rain. The sand and water table was now full of water and they took turns splashing. They stopped once for a snack, mini-cucumber from the Farmers Market, asking if they could eat outside….again Sean and I shrugged out shoulders, why not? They snacked out in the rain and enjoyed every rain drop!
