My birthday came this year with hot hot sunny weather. The best weather a girl could ask for — ahem – the best weather a girl with air conditioning could ask for! +30 weather, means dinner on the deck in the sweltering heat, filling the kiddie pool with freezing cold water for the kids (and my feet) and then sleeping in an air conditioned home! The boys helped me blow out the few candles I had and helped me out with cutting some lettuce – from our veggie garden — for the birthday dinner. Yes that is right, I am so proud of my veggie garden!
Of course a water fight broke out….quick everyone get the photographer!!
